UFO VideosI have had an interest in UFO’s since reading The Report On Unidentified Flying Objects by J. Allen Hynek and Maj. Edward Ruppelt in 1958 about the USAF’s Project Bluebook.  With more people having access to video cameras and now cell phone cameras, it only follows that there would be more UFO videos being posted on the Internet.  This a piqued more of an interest in UFOlogy.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a good UFO video is worth considerably more.  However, it sometimes seems that the better the quality of a UFO video, the higher chance it is a fake.  I have seen some excellently made videos that were frauds and that is too bad as it really depreciates the value of the real UFO videos.

There is a series of videos produced by the Disclosure Project, a Washington DC based group urging the disclosure of UFO activity and contact that have interviews with expert witnesses from the military, NASA, civilian contractors and many others that detail their experience and interaction with UFO’s.  They are urging the government to release these personnel and others from their secrecy agreements so they can tell us about what they have seen.

The latest articulate and rational UFO videos have been from Stephenville, Texas where they have experienced a rash of UFO sightings.  Even the local constable has seen the UFO and he describes it as huge.  A local businessman that is also a licensed pilot stated it was about a mile long from the perspective he saw it.  These are not attention seekers.  They are expert witnesses that are trained observers.

The sad aspect of the proliferation of UFO videos is when a fraud is uncovered; the debunkers have a field day and tell the public that all UFO videos are frauds.  That is hardly the case as there are many real UFO videos out there.  I believe a healthy degree of skepticism is necessary in any investigation, but it should not cloud nor bias the investigation.  There are many explainable lights in the sky.  However, there are many that are not explainable in their size, movement and speed.

I was skeptical until I saw my first UFO in 1969 with a group of 13 friends.  There was nothing else it could have been and we had a clear view of it in the early evening sky so we could actually see the craft itself and not just the lights.  I have seen several other UFO’s along with a great number of just lights in the sky, so I make sure that any time I see something in the sky, I assess what it couldn’t be first and then what it could be.

All UFO videos should be viewed with a skeptical eye and analytical mind.  If what you are viewing is truly unexplainable as a product of this earth, then what else can it be?  Watch with an open mind and you never know what you might find.
